27th June 2025: Season Review

After a couple of years under siege, the Men's first team enjoyed a more successful year, at times dizzyingly sitting top of the league before finishing respectably in the top half of the table. Highlights certainly included a comprehensive local derby victory and some accomplished performances by junior players stepping up. A strong indicator of improvement was the number of narrow, hard-fought victories, the kind of results that previously Acomb have found themselves on the receiving end of.. A new-look Men's second team, with an engine room of juniors and…ahem…seniors, likewise performed fantastically against an ever-increasing standard of opposition in Moor League 1.

 The Ladies were allotted a tough league, but as always, the club did the club immense credit with some fantastic results, assembling teams in spite of availability and distance difficulties, and also welcomed a good clutch of new players. All positive signs for 25/26.

 Men's 1s Player of the year was Neil Hutchins.

  Men's 2s Player of the Year was Oscar Bell.

 Men's Top Scorer was Jonny Brown. 

Callum Richardson as Young Player of the Year, 

Isaac Roberton as Most Improved Player of the Year, and all other award winners.
