16th May 2025 - End of Season Awards Night
Sign ups now available for our end of season awards night, with amazing food provided by Tasca Frango, York. Please come along for awards presentations, food, and celebrations.
7th December 2024 - Christmas Socials
Save the date! The Ladies section will be hosting a Christmas Crafts evening, whilst the Mens section will be raising a glass at the club house after their league fixtures that day.
21st September 2024 - Matt Linfoot Memorial Evening
After our league matches this day we will be reconvening at the Sports Club in commemoration. There will be drinks and refreshments and opportunities to support the British Heart Foundation with donations.
7th September 2024 - Men's Ainsty Cup
We will be hosting nearest and dearest neighbours Tadcaster, Selby and Boston Spa at Energise, 1pm-5pm, for this preason tournament. Drinks, food and trophies at the sports club afterwards.
8th July 2024 - AGM
Please put this date in the diary for the club's AGM at the Sports Club.
23rd June 2026 - Summer Social Hockey Sessions
Summer Social Hockey Sessions start! 7.30pm on wedensday evenings at Energise. Small sided games, challenges and fun. Open to all, including beginners, returners and new players. Just get in contact for more info. Training will then restart more formally on 7th August.

The Club runs a monthly draw called “100 Club”. For £1 per month, payable by standing order or cash, your number has a chance of winning cash prizes from a monthly draw. Please try and join this way of fundraising – you may even come out with a profit!

21st May 2024: Season Review
The season proved a difficult one with regards results for the Men's first team, with quite a few tight games going against us. The Men's section did welcome a good number of new players to the club, and were buoyed by a growing number of youth players, and players stepping up to umpire. The second team finished mid-table with some good performances against the stronger teams in the league. The ladies likewise held their own once more in a tough league. We celebrated at our end of season awards night on Friday 17th May. The winners were as follows:

Summer league is up and running at York, and we are also beginning our own social hockey sessions in late June.
